Chiyo Okonomiyaki Restaurant
A fun and fresh identity system and website design for a restaurant specializing in okonomiyaki, a scrumptious, savory pancake dish from Japan
For a casual, handcrafted aesthetic, we used a Japanese brush pen to design the Chiyo Okonomiyaki logo and brand elements.
Inspired by okonomiyaki’s layered ingredients, we overlaid colorful food photography with copy and quirky illustrations for a visually rich web experience. We collaborated with Junko Inoue to create vibrant images of ingredients and food preparation.
Black and white menus and business cards complement the brand’s colorful photography.
We are excited and honored to have our logo design for Chiyo Okonomiyaki featured in LogoLounge Book 10. Our logo was selected from nearly 40,000 submissions and juried by a prestigious group of 10 identity designers and branding experts.
